A preview of BC Diabetes’ new home

Announcements

Summer is in full swing here in Vancouver. It’d be all too easy to get lazy in this heat – but here at BC Diabetes, we are hard at work getting ready for our impending move in July to our brand new, custom-designed clinic and office space.

Want to take a sneak peek of our space? See below for some pictures. As it’s presently still under construction, it doesn’t look like much right now – but we have big plans for it, and we’re excited to get to work with our patients and partners in an integrated facility when it’s ready. We’re especially looking forward to:

  • Increasing our capacity for new patients, reducing our wait times;
  • Having 4 consultation rooms without exam beds. This means our patients will have lots of room to have their families, caregivers or other supportive people come with them to attend appointments;
  • Having 3 brand new examination rooms;
  • Having an on-site fitness studio for our patients in need of fitness instruction; and
  • Improving access to parking.
