Fatema Abdulhussein

Dr. Abdulhussein obtained her medical degree from Ross University in 2015 and completed her post-graduate training in pediatric endocrinology at the University of California San Francisco with a special focus in diabetes technology. She is also a clinical instructor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of British Columbia. Her research interests lie in quality improvement and improving the outcomes of children living with type 1 diabetes, primarily with the use of the most up-to-date technology. Outside the clinic, you’ll find Dr. Abdulhussein eating her way through Vancouver’s best restaurants, hiking in the mountains, or jet-setting across the world for a new adventure!
