Diabetes Technology Fellow
Ali Alqahtani, MBBS, joined BC Diabetes in July 2024 as a Diabetes Technology Fellow. He is an endocrinologist from Saudi Arabia with a focus on advanced diabetes technologies, particularly in the use of hybrid closed-loop systems for the management of Type 1 Diabetes. Dr. Alqahtani completed his medical training at King Khalid University and King Fahad Medical City. At BC Diabetes, he manages patients using cutting-edge insulin delivery systems and is actively involved in clinical research focused on improving glycemic outcomes. He holds an educational licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC as a Postgraduate Fellow.
