I began specialist diabetes practice in 1992 – with it began my lifetime mission to optimize care and improve outcomes for every British Columbian living with diabetes. As my staff grew I realized that everything depended on teamwork – thus in 2005 was born BCDiabetes.
BCDiabetes, with its dedicated staff of 14, is now at the forefront of diabetes care in Canada delivering best-in-class treatments and programs supported by an extensive clinical trial and research program and patient advocacy. Many of our activities including investigator-initiated research and our outreach program are unfunded. For this reason on April 4, 2019 BCDiabetes will be hosting its first (hopefully annual) fundraising gala. We count on your support!
