Zaren Mabanta, MD, IMG works at BC Diabetes. She completed her medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas and proceeded to complete her residency in Internal Medicine at Manila Doctors Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident for her final year. She was given the Chairman’s Special Award upon graduation for unparalleled dedication, competence, and remarkable leadership to the department.
Zaren also did an Observership in Internal Medicine in New York, USA last 2019. She practiced as a General Internist for a few months in Manila before moving to Canada in Fall 2024, when she started at BC Diabetes.
Zaren is not a registrant of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC and therefore not licensed to practice medicine in BC.
