Rachel Huang

Rachel Huang works at BC Diabetes. Rachel earned her Bachelor’s degree in Medical Sciences from Western University. She has a background in health sciences and computer science, with a special focus on physiology, genetics/epigenetics, One Health, and the social determinants of health. She applies these philosophies to her work with Loop patients, and caters treatment plans to each individual. Rachel is passionate about empowering patients with access to education and the right tools to improve their overall wellbeing.
In her spare time, Rachel is a weightlifter, avid reader, and does the NYT crossword puzzle every day.
Rachel is not a registrant of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC and therefore not licensed to practice medicine in BC.
