Maryam Kabootari MD, IMG, works at BC Diabetes. Maryam studied medicine in Iran and has experience practicing as an internist and endocrinologist for 7 years. She worked as an assistant professor at Golestan University of Medical Sciences. She also serves as a clinical researcher and has worked on a population-based cohort called Tehran Lipid and Glucose Study (TLGS) in the prevention of metabolic disorders at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Science in Tehran. She also holds the Bernard Lown Scholar in Cardiovascular Health at Harvard University School of Public Health. Maryam joined BC Diabetes at the start of 2024.
Maryam is not a registrant of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC and therefore not licensed to practice medicine in BC.
